Kind of surprising that someone could write so much about measles, right?

Not really… Especially when you consider how many myths and how much information about measles and the MMR vaccine there is out there!

Myths and misinformation that scare parents away from vaccinating and protecting their kids.

Myths and misinformation that lead to outbreaks and epidemics.

Two doses of MMR is the best protection against measles.
Although the first dose is routinely given at age 12 months, it can be given as early as six months if you are traveling out of the country or in other high risk situations. The second dose can be given early too.
