Actually, much more than any problem with demand for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine, what we have right now is a problem with supply!

Why?
“The U.S. government will allocate nearly 85% fewer Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine doses to states next week, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), due to uneven production related in part to problems at a Baltimore manufacturing plant.”

Unfortunately, in addition to the pause by the FDA, Janssen has had some issues with production of its vaccine.
What about demand?
Overall demand for COVID-19 vaccines has slowed as we are finally seeing fewer cases in the United States, but it will hopefully pick up as folks work to avoid another surge in cases.
