Let’s Compare a Vaccine Dose to a Bottle of Soda…

Why do some people want to compare a vaccine dose to a bottle of soda?

The usual suspects…

Let’s Compare a Vaccine Dose to a Bottle of Soda…

That kids get a vaccination that ‘looks like the size of a bottle of soda’ is the latest bit of misinformation that has come out of the Trump administration.

Not surprisingly, this one came from Donald Trump himself.

It’s not a surprise, because he had previously claimed that kids “get a VAT, I mean, like a big glass of, of stuff pumped into their bodies.”

Of course, kids get neither a bottle or soda nor a vat size amount of stuff pumped into their bodies.

In fact, the average vaccine is just 0.5ml!

Well, I suppose if you add up 94 vaccines, it’s a lot of, it’s a big volume.”

Secretary RFK, Jr

And even if you add up all of the vaccines a child gets from the whole immunization schedule, it doesn’t add up to a big volume at all. It’s about 25 ml, which is less than two tablespoons of ‘stuff!’

That’s less than one ounce.

You could fit nearly 950 vaccine doses into just one bottle of soda!

Much less than the 473 ml that’s in a bottle of soda.

While all of the vaccines given to an infant at two months could be up to 2.5 ml if given separately, if you used a combination vaccination, the injected volume could be as low as 1.0 ml! And they would get less aluminum, which Trump and RFK, Jr also talk about in the executive order.

And just one more reason why you shouldn’t listen to Donald Trump when he makes recommendations about vaccines.
