Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is a condition causing lightheadedness, fainting, and rapid increase in heartbeat upon standing. Its cause is unknown but may be associated with various risk factors and syndromes. While there is no conclusive evidence that most vaccines, including HPV, cause POTS, recent studies suggest a rare association with COVID-19 vaccines, especially in individuals with pre-existing conditions.
