Why are we seeing more and more outbreaks and cases of measles in the United States?

No, it’s not simply because there is a global measles outbreak, as Secretary RFK, Jr suggests…
Why You Can’t Simply Blame Measles Outbreaks on a Global Rise in Cases
Sure, that is part of the issue.
But there is much more than that to our measles problem!
If we only had to consider global measles counts, then why would we just start seeing such big outbreaks and high counts these last few years?

After all, global measles counts didn’t all of a sudden start surging these last few years, did they?

No, global measles counts were even higher around 25 years ago when we had measles under very good control in the United States.
Why?
Higher immunization rates and less vaccine hesitancy.

Of course, that was before RFK, Jr. became so popular…
