Pierre Kory thinks he has uncovered some big conspiracy for why Ohio State Medical Center isn’t offering COVID vaccines to their employees.

Pierre who?

Who is Pierre Kory?

So Pierre Kory is one of the newer anti-vaccine influencers on the block…

His claim to fame is the idea that you can use ivermectin to treat COVID and that long COVID is really “long-vax.”

He also believes that vaccinated people are shedding spike protein and making unvaccinated people sick and that COVID vaccines have caused maternal mortality rates to soar.

Why Isn’t Ohio State Medical Center Offering COVID Vaccines to Their Employees?

Kory is basically all in on COVID vaccines being bad!

Pierre Kory used AI to do his research and it missed the press release from last Spring announcing the end of COVID vaccine requirements for Ohio State Medical Center employees.

Specifically, he doesn’t like mRNA COVID vaccines.

“Wait, what? Ohio State is suddenly no longer offering the Covid-19 vaccine to any of their employees but they are happily offering to inject them into the public? How can such a policy be justified? Why was this change in policy done and why was it done so quietly?”

Sadly, either his blind hatred or his disappointment at always being wrong leads him to often post this kind of misinformation…

Wait, do you mean that there is no conspiracy at Ohio State?

“Ohio State announced on Monday, April 24 that the university will no longer require COVID-19 vaccination for students, faculty and staff, with the exception of those who are subject to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or other professional requirements. All campus community members are strongly encouraged to stay up-to-date on vaccinations as recommended (link is external) by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This transition coincides with the upcoming expiration of the federal public health emergency, is in response to changes in the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization of COVID-19 vaccinations and is compliant with Ohio law.”

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Nope.

No conspiracy.

Since COVID vaccines are no longer required and they are no longer free, OSU stopped giving them to employees.

“Let’s get this straight. Ohio State’s leadership is now making an institutional decision that employees should not be offerred (sic) access to any Covid-19 mRNA vaccine. I am (pretending to be) confused. I mean, if the vaccines could protect patients from being infected by staff members and they were safe to give to staff members, why wouldn’t you do everything possible (like a mandate) to ensure they receive them?”

Let’s get something straight! No one is blocking employees of Ohio State from getting an mRNA COVID vaccine. They can go to their OSU primary care provider and get vaccinated or they can go to any number of nearby clinics.

But why not mandate them for employees if they are so safe and effective?

COVID vaccine mandates helped make sure that a good number of people were vaccinated and protected during the peak of the COVID pandemic.

The mandates have now ended and hopefully people will make the decision to get vaccinated and protected to decrease their chances of getting sick with COVID, getting hospitalized with COVID, or dying with COVID.
