Why do some people think that the world’s leading vaccinologists claimed that vaccine safety is not well studied?

Did the World’s Leading Vaccinologists Claim Vaccine Safety is Not Well Studied
Of course, it isn’t true.
As they often do, Robert F Kennedy, Jr and other anti-vaccine influencers are simply misusing and misinterpreting a recent editorial in the New England Journal of Medicine about vaccine safety by Stanley Plotkin and some other vaccinologists.
An editorial which simply stated that we need more funding to do even more vaccine safety research to help sort out those one in a million type reactions that are sometimes reported after folks get vaccinated.
“Wow. After decades of Dr. Stanley Plotkin and his vaccinologist disciples insisting vaccines are the most well studied products on the planet, they just penned an article admitting precisely the opposite.”
AND LIKE THAT, THE CLAIM VACCINES ARE THE WORLD’S BEST STUDIED PRODUCT DIES
An editorial that didn’t say vaccine safety studies aren’t done.
“Although the ACIP acknowledges the need, there are currently no resources earmarked for postauthorization safety studies beyond annual appropriations, which must be approved by Congress each year.”

For example, the editorial states that the only funding for postauthorization studies comes from annual appropriations that Congress has to approve each year.
Somehow Aaron Siri twisted that into “there are not resources earmarked for postauthorization safety studies.”
What happened to the “…beyond annual appropriations…” part of that quote?

If you were at all fooled by Aaron Siri’s post, you should get better educated about what anti-vaccine influencers have been clearly up to and how they use propaganda about vaccines to scare people away from getting vaccinated and protected.
“This long-overdue action would be an important step toward rebuilding public confidence in the immunization system.”

Anti-vaccine influencers who are responsible for breaking down public confidence in our immunization systems.
“They also ignore the mountain of studies and data which already exist that clearly show serious vaccine harms.”
AND LIKE THAT, THE CLAIM VACCINES ARE THE WORLD’S BEST STUDIED PRODUCT DIES
Anti-vaccine influencers who are responsible for putting out trash pre-prints and poorly done studies that often get retracted and are debunked as soon as they are published.
Their propaganda isn’t ignored.
They should be though unless you want to risk your family getting sick with a vaccine preventable disease.
