Utah measles outbreak

The ongoing measles outbreak in Utah, which began in June 2025, has now recorded 687 cases in 12 months, making it the longest outbreak since 1991. Although it is smaller than the 2025 Texas outbreak, it has surpassed the 2019 Brooklyn outbreak. Concerns grow about loss of measles elimination status and the need for vaccination.
