Remember When the Government said Natural Immunity Doesn’t Exist?

Do you remember when the government said natural immunity doesn’t exist?

All of the unvaccinated people who didn't wear a mask or practice social distancing and who died with COVID aren't here to say anything = survivorship bias...

Yeah, neither do I…

Why Is Ben Tapper Still Here?

First things first though.

Why is Ben Tapper still around if he was regularly exposed to COVID and he was unvaccinated and never wore a mask?

Of course, the answer is simple – the mortality rate from COVID-19 is not 100%!

So even if you are unvaccinated, take no precautions to avoid getting exposed to the virus, and are at high risk for a severe infection, no one said you are definitely going to die if you get COVID.

And if you are otherwise healthy and at low risk for severe disease, then you have an even better chance of surviving your COVID infection.

Tragically though, the mortality rates for COVID have been found to be higher than many other infections and many people, mostly unvaccinated, have died during the pandemic.

Remember When the Government said Natural Immunity Doesn’t Exist?

And the government never said that natural immunity to COVID-19 doesn’t exist.

“At this time, experts do not know how long someone is protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19. The immunity someone gains from having an infection, called natural immunity, varies from person to person. Some early evidence suggests natural immunity may not last very long.”

Facts about COVID-19 Vaccines

The CDC simply advised people to get vaccinated after having a natural infection for extra protection.

“Both natural immunity and vaccine-induced immunity are important aspects of COVID-19 that experts are trying to learn more about, and CDC will keep the public informed as new evidence becomes available.”

Facts about COVID-19 Vaccines

New evidence that has repeatedly shown you are much better off getting vaccinated, especially as new COVID variants have continued to appear.

“Quite a few people have been talking recently about natural immunity. They have heard that once you get infected with COVID-19, you have antibodies that should protect you against future infections. This is true, up to a point. But what is often neglected is that with infections, much like with vaccinations, immunity wanes with time and new variants compromise some of the protection we previously had.”

‘Natural immunity’ to COVID has its limits

But guess what? While it is clear that ‘the government’ never did say natural immunity doesn’t exist, do you know who did say it?

A germ theory denialist who believes in natural immunity?

After all, if Ben Tapper, a chiropractor, doesn’t believe in germ theory, then how can he believe in natural immunity?
