Instead of measles or any of the other issues we are facing, RFK Jr.’s ACIP Committee will be discussing COVID-19 vaccine injuries and Long-COVID.

Can you guess why they will be talking about long-COVID?

Is it that long COVID is mostly found in folks who are unvaccinated?

I wouldn’t bet on it!

“Meanwhile, the long COVID question looms over all of it. The HighWire has reported extensively on research showing post-vaccine syndrome shares the same symptoms as long COVID, including Yale research finding elevated spike protein in patients more than two years after vaccination. The NIH spent over $1.6 billion studying long COVID under the Biden administration. The dollars spent studying vaccine injuries? Minimal. But, they could be one in the same.”

That’s right. Anti-vaccine influencers continue to believe that long-COVID is a vaccine injury and that’s likely what we are going to hear at the next ACIP meeting.

“A 2022 review by the UK Health Security Agency concluded that “people who received 2 doses of a vaccine against Covid-19 were less likely to develop long Covid symptoms or experience symptoms for a shorter time, compared with those unvaccinated.””

Don’t expect any kind of real evidence for their claims though.

“For years, the vaccine injured were dismissed. Gaslit. Called liars. Told their symptoms were anxiety. Told VAERS reports were meaningless. Told the science was settled and the conversation was over.”

Of course, they will mostly be using VAERS reports to make their claims of these vaccine injuries.

Now don’t get me wrong. VAERS reports do have a role in looking for signals that can help them find true vaccine injuries, but, since it is a passive reporting system, it does not mean that every VAERS report is a vaccine injury.

In fact, most aren’t.

And they are ignoring all the times that the ACIP Committee has investigated suspected vaccine injuries over the years (this is not an all inclusive list!):

Of course, instead of just looking at VAERS, pre-RFK Jr, the ACIP committee would do a thorough investigation of these possible vaccine injuries, including looking for VSD rapid cycle analysis signals and doing post-licensure vaccine safety studies.

Possible vaccine injuries were not ignored.

Reports to VAERS were not ignored.

Discussing vaccine safety and possible adverse events have long been a regular feature of ACIP Committee meetings.

So why do anti-vaccine influencers continue to think that vaccine injuries and reports to VAERS have long been ignored?

Why do they apparently think that long-COVID is associated with COVID vaccines?

“Dr. Baratta says that nearly all of the 425 patients evaluated at the COVID Recovery Clinic were unvaccinated when they contracted COVID-19. That tracks with a recent study that found vaccinated people who experience a breakthrough infection were about 50 percent less likely to experience long COVID-19 than unvaccinated people who get infected.”

It is simply because they believe that anything and everything that happens after you are vaccinated must be caused by the vaccine, whether it is minutes, days, weeks, months, or years later.

And that’s what they want you to believe too!

“This study reports that the patients continued to have debilitating symptoms related to long COVID, one year after discharge, and most of its effects were observed in patients with severe/critical disease and unvaccinated patients.”

That’s the only way they can scare you away from getting vaccinated and protected. You have to think that vaccines are always dangerous (they aren’t) and are worse than the diseases they prevent (they aren’t!).
