If you have ever doubted the importance of real public health experts, you saw their importance during the recent hantavirus outbreak.
After all, we don’t need wanna be public health experts making these kinds of incidents much worse than they have to be.
The Hantavirus Outbreak Reinforced the Importance of Real Public Health Experts
In addition to the many missteps of Secretary RFK, Jr since he has taken over our public health system, let’s consider these other so-called experts.
We will start with Peter McCullough, who posted multiple updates each day at the start of the hantavirus outbreak, all of which were filled with misinformation, including that:
the Hantavirus outbreak was caused by rodents on board, with the virus circulating through contaminated rodent dust in the ship’s ventilation system.– not true! No rodent infestation was found on the ship.the WHO should have called for “immediate evacuation and ship decontamination”– terrible idea! It took a little time to evacuate everyone.all of the people exposed to hantavirus should have been given favipiravir, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.– none of these have been shown to be effective against hantavirus, but Peter McCullough conveniently sells them
And if this was the guy in charge of the outbreak and you were on the ship, you might have been stuck on the deck and not allowed in your cabin!

Fortunately, real public health experts from the WHO coordinated the MV Hondius hantavirus outbreak response, and it was quickly brought under control, even as the passengers were safely evacuated from the ship.
