Can You Trust Online Vaccine Polls?
Of course, these types of polls and surveys are highly unscientific.
It is much worse than you think though.
There are often calls to vote in these polls from Facebook groups that are against vaccines.
And that clearly skews the results of these vaccine polls.
So while these polls might get some traffic for these websites, they do absolutely nothing to contribute to our learning what most people actually think about vaccines.
Even worse than most open-access opinion polls, these are essentially voodoo polls that are easily rigged.
And that’s why these online polls rarely match the more sophisticated results from real pollsters who find strong support for vaccinating and protecting our kids.
